Mount Tindaya.
|
The harshness of the climate
and the erosion of time have carved out of the base of the
Macizo de Betancuria the formation that is seen today.
A place of worship for the Prehispanic inhabitants, Mount
Tindaya contains one of the most impressive rock carvings
of feet (pod morphs) to be found in the Canaries.
A place where the island’s past is proudly displayed
to those visitors who are looking for more than sun and sand.
