The Caletón de Garachico, beside San Miguel castle in the centre of Garachico, is a group of lava stone pools.

Highly frequented as a bathing area because of its calm waters, it measures 60m long by 15m wide.

Given its urban location there are many facilities and services.

To the west of the city centre, beside the dock, is this popular beach of coarse black sand and gravel measuring 50m long by 30m.

Las Aguas can be found in a pristine part of the coast where moderate waves lap this shore of fine black sand and gravel; 250m long by 20m.

Close to Guincho and Roque beach this small cove is appreciated as one of the best places in the borough for bathing as well as one of the island's best spots for catfish (vieja).
