El Monis beach is one of two swimming areas sitting at the foot of the Icod de los Vinos cliffs whose height reaches 100 metres.

Although close to a semi-urban area, it receives few visitors since its solitary location is accessible only by foot. This fine black sand and gravel beach has moderate waves and measures 130m long by 42m.

Services: accommodations in nearby San Marcos village; public transportation brings you to the start of dirt path leading to the beach.

Beside the village of the same name, it is one of the two beaches on the steep Icod de los Vinos coast between Riquer and Las Coloradas Points.

Medium grain black sand beach with calm waters for good swimming; measures 230m long by 40m wide.

Services: docking area, Red Cross station with boat, nearby accommodations and restaurants, showers, change rooms, toilets, umbrellas, hammocks, telephones, parking and public transportation.
