BEACHES OF TENERIFE - SANTIAGO DEL TEIDE

Found in a secluded untouched spot in the midst of Los Gigantes cliffs, access by boat only, this more than half-kilometre long beach (620m by 15m wide) has an interesting seabed, like the entire coast here, good for diving.

At a half-kilometre from Puerto Santiago fishing village, this beach of fine black sand is good for swimming in its calm waters; 125m long by 43 m.

Situated in a small tourism enclave offering full facilities and services: accommodations, restaurants, Red Cross station with boat, local police patrols, showers, toilets, rentals of umbrellas, hammocks and water sports equipment, telephones and public transportation.

Los Guíos can be found to the extreme west of Los Gigantes sports marina.

This beach of fine black sand measuring 180m long by 37m is sheltered by the docks so the water is good for safe bathing, and like the entire coast, the seabed is ideal for underwater exploration.

As well, it's a great place to appreciate the imposing cliffs of Los Gigantes.
