Boroughs of Tenerife: BUENAVISTA DEL NORTE
Is the largest municipality in the Daute region, in the extreme north-west of Tenerife.

85% of the territory is occupied by the Macizo de Teno (Teno Massif Rural Park), the oldest geological formation on the island together with the Anaga and Adeje Massifs.
The city centre has grown without losing its ancestral flavour, which can be seen in its traditional architecture, a good example being the San Juan Bautista de Taco estate.

From Buenavista one goes up toward the fertile valley of El Palmar, where various country houses such as El Palmar, Cuesvas del Palmar and LaLagunetas are dedicated to agriculture and livestock farming.

Punta del Teno Nature Park should be mentioned along with El Cardón Nature Space, the El Granero building, and the portico of the old San Francisco convent.
