The name Frontera covers the majority of the communities in El Golfo, but it is also used as another name for the village of Tigaday. Frontera has gained in importance as it has become the centre of prosperous fruit farms. On the coast there are many plantations with irrigation systems, whilst the hillsides are covered with vineyards. |
